iPhone display is look weak in these comparison, the Yosemite wallpaper really lacks details, and colours are just really off, was not except it to looks so bad. G3 looks amazing, but I think it might have been better suited to keep it 1080p instead of trying to one up everyone in a mostly meaningless way. Anandtech recently reviewed the S805 and it really shows its the baseline for a 1440p device.
Personally never liked the cartoony colours or Samsung or LG mobile phones. Also I would wait for nexus 6 before buying this.
LG's colour calibration looks well off.
Add that to the average contrast and off-axis contrast shift, it's a very average screen apart from the added sharpness (which is not much).
I'm not impressed. S5 screen would stomp on this.
Quite possibly I will be keeping my phone longer too.
Now however, it doesn't look like it.
Are you using the stock Moto ROM? Highly advise giving CM11 a whirl if you have bootloader unlocked![]()
How on earth has everyone dismissed this phone based on the screen when no one has seen it in real life? A youtube review and one screenshotted chart of 'sunlight contrast ratio' mean nothing compared to seeing it with your own eyes.
And for colour accuracy, does that not vary from individual device?
