Richard Huddy rejoins AMD as Gaming Scientist

It's awesome isn't it :P

Refreshments engineer: Tea boy
Waste disposal technician: Garbage man
Sanitation facilitator: Toiler cleaner

So...

Gaming Scientist: ...not a damn clue lol

He wears a white labcoat to meetings and spouts very long words to journalists??

:p

Hexus tried to get a comment on Richard Huddy's return from AMD's "Developer Relations" department but they too busy lamenting Gameworks to comment:

It benefited Nvidia too you know, they sneaked out their flagship gpu on the hush hush without so much as a review...

What's more embarrasing, Game Borked implementation, sorry I meant GW's or the slower twice as much card?:p;):o:D

Could not have put it better myself Matt.

Something drew me back to a previous employer, they have a spectacular list of firsts in the industry, from developing the first DX9 and DX11 GPU to being the only company to ever sweep all three of the console vendors.
But very importantly to me they are driven by the right kind of ethos, they passionately believe in the importance of Gaming, Genuinely supporting Developers not hampering them and they believe in an open and fair competitive land scape, and they are pioneers of open standards.
So as of today i'm utterly delighted i'm returning to my roots and getting back to working with 3D Graphics.
I'm going back to work for AMD
The more talent this draws in the better :)

Not sure what people cannot grasp from that extract, especially the anti-AMD as PhysicsMan puts it. :)
