This seems like free money

Bookies are always doing mad offers or pulling stunts. The offer is more about publicity and getting a new customer signed who will then potentially lose a lot of money during the world cup after the initial 'hook'.

Paddypower anyone lol ?

So can someone please explain it to me. I put the bet on earlier. I then got a £20 Free bet and £10 free casino money. Are you telling me im going to get another £30 if Brazil wear yellow???????????

Yes, as u staked your own £10 on that bet, check in your account, the bet will still be live.Surprised this offer not gone yet.

Disappointment as people discover that free bets for new customers have been on offer for a long time.

So i stuck in £10

Can i withdrawal the whole £30 once i've won?

I also was given £10 to play in the casino and 1 free bet token (£20), what does that mean? I have another £30 to spend in the casino as well?

Yes you can withdraw the £30, the other bets most likely have much more stringent conditions like you need to cycle the amount 5 times or something, which is rubbish.

It's not really a free bet, just a bet with really really great odds for the probability of it paying out (almost 100% confirmed now), which isn't that common.

Given this a go but a bit suspicious to say the least.

I'm not a gambler so will just bank the cash and close the account after they've paid out :)

Assuming no catch of course..

Just done this, deposited £10 through paypal, placed £10 on Brazil to wear yellow and withrdrawn my free £5 so it's cost me £5 and i could get back £30 so more like odds of 5/1 for Brazil to wear yellow tomorrow.

You won't get the stake money back though, so it's only really even money and the bookmaker will be banking on most people putting it back at some point (which they inevitably do).

Why wont you get the stake back?

It's not a free bet, it's just like any other bet.

Because that's how it's always worked. The stake isn't yours.

£10 at 2/1 free bet gives you £20 return plus the £10 stake. As the stake wasn't yours, you don't get it back. Therefore you'd only win a tenner.
