You certainly have a point about 125s, but it comes down to each person's specific circumstances. 80% of my commute by distance is on B roads, but this is only 20% of my commute by time.

When I hit the town roads, it takes me 15 minutes to do the 2 miles through town in a car, due to the queuing caused by hilarious quantities of traffic lights. I can do this same 2 miles in 6 minutes on my bicycle, because I can easily jump all the queues, even if there are cars in the other lane coming towards me. On a 125, this would not be so simple.

This is why an e-bike is very interesting for me. It's also a lot cheaper to run and fuel than even a 125 is.

125s can fit in pretty much any space a cycle can, the handle bars are about the same width:p

As that's got a steel fork that front kit would be perfect. Buy from greenbikkit - much better than BMS battery.

As that bike will probably have good brake levers, you wont want to swap them for the kit levers, so order one of these as well - you only need one on the rear brake.

Just a thought but should you really be protecting the front motor with suspension forks?
The other week when my suspension stopped working I was getting worried my motor was being hammered.

Give me an example? I'm not aware of any legal bike that lets you adjust the max speed above the legal limit via the display.

As Wesley said - it's to cut power to the motor when you hit the brakes. With a PAS system, there can be half a second delaying between stopping pedalling and the motor stopping. It's also useful when you're at traffic lights - i.e. feathering the brake stops you surging off under power if you rotate the pedals a little.

I haven't ordered a kit as I build the motors into rims myself and I build the controllers myself too. I have had a couple of Q100 motors from GBK though and all have arrived promptly with good comms.

Q100h is a 350w motor, that's why it has more torque. Q100f is rated 250w-350w.

Woosh bikes aren't EN5194 certified.

They only say on the website that they use EN5194 certified motors - which is a nonsense as it's the whole bike that's EN5194 certified, not the motor on it's own.

Have a look for an EN5194 sticker on a Woosh bike - you wont find one.

Correct as you're technically the using a unregistered, unlicensed motor vehicle with no insurance or MOT either.
 
Id rather stick to the legal then derestrict it so they wont be able to tell its derestricted.

Would you recommend the 100f? With the samsung battery 10ah? I was thinking to just get the 100f kit without battery and get the battery from . woosh as its 15ah square bottle but I can't find the kit without the battery?

Kit without battery

When you get the battery from Woosh - ask them for the controller side connector as well so you can cut the battery connector off the GBK kit and fit the Woosh one.
 
Total is coming upto £700+ you think it is worth the hassle? I could just order a woosh big bear (more torque) 15ah for £809 and not have to modify anything?
