Seems every show I watch has ended for the series or ending soon like

  • GOT - Only 1 episode left or was it 2
  • Arrow - Season two just finished
  • Sons of Anarchy - Not back for a while yet
  • Walking Dead - Season Finished
  • Hannibal - Season Finished
  • Supernatural - Season Finished
  • House of Cards - Season finished
Only thing going right now is 24, which has been a bit crap so far.

have watched

  • Lost
  • Prison Break
  • Heroes
  • 24
  • Breaking Bad
  • The Sopranos
  • Dexter
  • CSI (up until a couple of years ago where I gave up)
  • Warehouse 13 (found it a bit B grade and given up)
  • X-Files

Think that's about it for what i've seen. Prefer US shows, you can see the kinds of shows I like from above.

So anything worth checking out that I haven't seen?

Off the top of my head;
- Banshee
- Helix
- Warehouse 13
- Elementary
- Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

Edit: Justified is a good shout too :)

I enjoyed justified.

Orange is the new black is a great show, but you'll need Netflix unfortunately, unless you're willing to go down dark paths to obtain your television.

Elementary isn't bad though it didn't really grip me but its reasonably well done.

I started watching Blacklist which is fairly decent also but again hasn't really gripped me.

Seems to be a bit of a lack of shows at the moment that I've really found above average.

How about Fargo?

Not too sure where you can find the complete catch up for it, but I've enjoyed it so far.

Blacklist is pretty awful. :)

Yeah? I watched a couple of episodes and it seemed ok, not interesting enough that I had to watch it though, went on the list for when I'm bored.

Never really seen what people see in the wire though it might be because I've seen similar shows that came out since before I watched it, first season was interesting but nothing seemed to justify the hype for me.

The Wire. ( owe it to yourself to watch it.. Truly superb)

True Detective ( one of the strongest season 1 I have seen in a long time, lots of layers tto it)

Blacklist. Gets better as it goes on. Not deep but James Spader is great in it.

Well Hannibal has only just recently restarted, surely that's got quite a few episodes left to go yet?

Next month sees the second season of Ray Donovan start.

I'd also echo a shout from someone earlier about Boardwalk Empire, good series.

Likewise True Detective.

One to keep an eye out for might be Wayward Pines, which is done by M. Night Shayamalan and is basically a modern version of Twin Peaks.

We've just finished Dexter and are looking to start something pronto. Would prefer to watch series that are completed and have watched:

* Lost
* Heroes
* Prison Break
* Dexter
* 24 (except the current series of course)
* Homeland (to date)
* Friends
* Big Bang Theory

Am thinking The Wire. Is Suits still running? Game of Thrones still is isn't it?

Any suggestions welcomed :)

It gets worse as the series progresses, its watch able no doubt, but the main character is terrible and the complete ineptness of the FBI is a joke. (mind you there are not as bad the FBI in the Following :p)

Series just has no gravitas, humour of any sort, there are no cliffhangers you give a toss about, the characters are all stereotypical. Spader quickly becomes annoying too.

Its a series for when you have nothing decent to watch. :)
