Any decent series to watch?

Did you even watch your own clip? All they have done is mute the audio whenever the audience laughs, you even hear them trailing off sometimes when the next person starts talking. Nothing canned about the laughter in that show, regardless of whether you find it funny or not.
 
+1 for Madmen, deliberately slow pace but best tv show going imo.

The wire has taken on almost cult like status, the show that everyone loves to recommend. It is damned good tho to be fair.

Honorable mention for Homeland season 1, that was something special. Don't bother with the rest of it.

If you want something bit different would recommend French series The Returned. Has a kind of Twin Peaks vibe about it, very well made
 
Person of Interest. The first two seasons are quite procedural with some longer arcs but season three develops the underlying story a lot further, especially the second half. I'm looking forward to season four.
