they could i suppose. hey already have their own apps like Hailo and gettaxi which do the same job.

uber is supposed to be your own private chauffeur (or that's how it started) although they now offer 3 tiers of driver / cost.

goes from prius - merc class (or other equiv) - merc e class (or other equiv)

the top tier is probably 1.5 times more expensive than a black cab. the middle the same as and the lowest like a mini cab. prob 0.8 of the cost.

Maybe someone has already explained in a previous post, I don't know.

It's probably mostly about competition. But I've heard that uber don't have to be as licensed or regulated as much as Black Cabs do. They also charge much less and and pay less taxes. This is why they were banned in Belgium(I think).

Bloody Americans.....come over here....giving us a better taxi service. This is why I voted UKIP and shaved my hair off.
