get a nice 18" floor fan and you'll be fine. you don't mic up so don't worry about having people understand you over the hurricane in the background

TBH, might look into one of those big ass fans! Got a desk one, which helps a little bit but not enough!!!

I use one of those huge floor fans in the summer, get the angle right and you can cool PC and yourself at the same time.

They were yeah, but as they were in the cellar I couldn't hear them much.

Ah, I'm pretty sure I used to have one of those a couple of years ago and it did a good job of circulating air but on anything but the lowest setting it was loud enough to be annoying even from across the room while gaming.

Kinda tempted to get one of those small usb fans to keep face/hands cool while gaming, though they're probably rubbish.

Most of them are as you said - rubbish.

I always get sticky fingers when gaming and people think it's funny that I need to keep washing my hands

Exact same problem here, although even when not gaming, in this oven of a room, my hands are sticky & sweaty non stop
