Cost a pretty penny but it is incredible how light and compressible these things are considering the warmth they offer.
For the bathroom
I bought a waterproofing kit for my bathroom and never got round to using it. It wanted 2 clear days of drying time and when I took the existing tiles there was no evidence that water have ever got behind them. I put the kit back in the cupboard and forgot about it.

I was undecided but went for belt and braces in the end. I'm going for a kind of semi wet room so better off tanking I believe

Waterproofing is always better than not waterproofing, especially in a wet area. You did the right thing in choosing to tank it.

Excuse the image quality, got my hands on a Ubiquiti Bullet 2 to set up in the garden for summer nights chilling with the laptop/ipad outisde with a beer.

Nah, carbon fiber degrades really quickly which is why they make planes out of it.
well it last a long time for corrosion, but it is incredibly fragile to impact damage (hence why we make the front bits out of metal still).
so not really ideal for something that gets banged around a lot lol.
I was wondering that. The Manufacturers page was clear as mud!
Having found someone that sells its the description is as follows : "Low cost 2.4 GHz Access Point/CPE which connects directly to an antenna. Power and data are supplied over the ethernet connection."
Looks like it's reasonably weatherproof as well. Neat idea.
