27" monitor for consoles?

Bit off topic here but has anyone used their PS3 with a capture device called Hauppauge HD PVR 2 gaming edition? If so, is there any input lag at all?

using the passthrough doesn't create any noticeable lag. but if you are very worried by an active 1x2 HDMI splitter. cost around £15 and will put your mind at easy

As for a monitor: BenQ GW2760HS is perfect for console gaming.

I recently bought ue32h5000, I'm currently using as monitor/ps4 looks absolutely amazing and it's really cheap, for premium quality picture. Highly recommended buying it.
