No fanboys please!

EA and SEGA have bought out some great titles over the years and either stopped production or just ruined these are to me.... C & C, Sim City and Championship Manager can anyone think of more?

I can't believe they destroyed C & C then didn't even release it, I still go back to Red Alert and wonder why no one has tried to recreate it 20 years on!?!?!?!

Battlefield I feel hasn't not been ruined at all by them, other games definitely have though. Agree with most of the ones in this thread (although they didn't really make bad C&C games IMO, just stopped making them).

Command and Conquer and Command and Conquer Red Alert. Both awesome games I am very fond of. The new ones are crap, even though the AI in the originals is obviously poor.

Battlefield. BF2 was absolutely fantastic and way ahead of the times. The current drivel they released always needs patching, did not even work on release day, crashes to desktop, is buggy and just feels plain unfinished.
BF2 I paid for.
BFBC2 I paid for on release day and whilst a good game, did not work for ~1 week after release.
BF3 I paid for on release day and had the same issues as BFBC2, but plenty of stalemate maps too
BF4 I paid for on release day and feels just like BF3. I really don't fell much has changed!
BF Hardline. Well I have the Beta installed awaiting me to try it. I am not expecting it to actually work.

Championship Manager.. im assuming you mean Football Manager? And how have they ruined that?

The development team has always been the same more or less... the game generally improves and adds to its previous iteration and is always supported with patches and data updates until Feb/March.

I appreciate its probably not as easy to get into such as 97/98 or 01/02... but thats just because technology has forced the game to evolve.

SEGA have undoubtedly ruined Sonic the Hedgehog. Trying to force all the cute little woodland critters down everyone's throats when all people want is Sonic/Tails/Knuckles/Robotnik.

Then there's the repeated attempts to make it work in 3D, which they've only gotten right once.

And when they do try a 2D version (Sonic 4) the physics are cruddy and the level design uninspiring.
