right lets see what you can come up with

I have been having ham slapped in some bread everyday for many years I'm starting to get slightly bored of it

so what do you guys/gals take to work for lunch?

I tend to make a salad with either a bit of cous cous/rice and also some ham/chicken/cheese.

Got really bored of sandwiches myself so decided to do something different, just have a sandwich every now and again.

-Anti pasti selection
-Plowman's (or variant, any meats or cheeses with a good salad and some bread)

If you have a microwave at work..
-Pasta and sauce leftovers
-Chilli and rice

Burrito's (Filling of choice)
Mixed Salad
Pasta cooked night before and with sauce in a seperate tub, microwave then combine.
Also, try taking ingredients in a seperate container and making up your own subway style baguette...Much better than something sat in the fridge for hours...

chicken+puy lentil
chicken salad (don't put on dressing at home, I use a tiny screw top container for the dressing, just pour + shake)
tuna pasta in microwave pouch sauce
stag dynamite hot chilli
morrisons salad bar

Usually I cook my dinners with the aim to have the leftovers for lunch.

This week I have had hamburgers, chicken chasseur with mash and veg, and today it was prawn tikka masala with puy lentils and peppers.

I have that issue as well. Ham with mustard / ham salad is my usual lunch. Got some chicken, I'll add in some lettuce / peppers along with either a Caesar / Thousand Island dressing in a wrap. I sometimes have the odd leftover half a Quiche from the night before as well.

Changes between tomato, pepper, radish and cucumber with a load of chopped up chorizo/ salami and a couple of bits of fruit.

Or a ploughmans - bread, cheese, apple, maybe a bit of smoked meat.

Never been a big sandwich eater unless it's made by someone else - I can't be bothered with lunches. I love cooking dinner, and on the weekends lunch and breakfast. But in the week I just sling together a lunch in 2 minutes.

Get some decent protein into you!!

Eggy my man...boiled or cold omelette with fillings (its basically quiche with out pastry before the ewwws?.

salads are boring until you add citrus/oils...makes them nice and interesting. also bacon in salads = win!

Wraps filled with either chicken or tuna plus fresh salad. I also have a banana or kiwi and some nuts, preferred favourite being unsalted cashews.

I'm just getting into these.

Wholemeal wrap
Houmous
Chicken
Salad
4 bean salad or tabbouleh

Makes a welcome change to the Earl's creation.

Mixed salad, avocado, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bulgar wheat, lardons and 250g chicken breast, pine nuts, mixed seeds and olive oil. It's amazing. :)

Today's is puy lentils fried with babycorn, tenderstem broccoli, sugar snap peas and sliced chorizo.
