Show us your kitty cats

We picked up these two little kittens last night, Marley and Jess. We love them, they've settled in so quickly and are so friendly, playful, and they seem to have really taken to us which we're so pleased about.

At that age, they just bite everything, teething or not. Make sure you discourage them from biting things you don't want them biting i.e. you, because its much easier to teach them when they're young.

Just taking him away from whatever hes biting, but he goes straight back to it!

Give him something else to bite instead. We had some quite hard-wearing toys when we had our kitten. If he was biting things we'd take him away from those items. If he went back we'd "play" with him using the toys, he'd much rather eat and bite those because they move.
At that age you should be able to tire them out quite often and unless they master sleep biting you should be OK :)
 
Glad to hear your cat came home, I can't imagine what it must feel like not knowing where they are :(

Update on our kittens, they have fleas, but I went to the vet today and they had their first vaccination, flea/worm treatment, check up (they're in good health), oh and we found out the black and white kitty is actually a boy. So we're deciding whether to keep him as Jess, or rename him to something else (we really struggled with girl names, but we had loads of boy names).

We're thinking something like Floyd (Pink Floyd is our favourite band), Morrison (as in Jim Morrison), or something like Sylvester. We're not sure yet.

We bloody love them though. They're so bloody cute and they seem to have fallen in love with us, they're so affectionate! Anyway, here's a few more pics:

What are people's opinions of catteries? We are away in July and Mully will have to go to a catterie because we have nobody who can take him.
