Cheapest place to buy S5 sim free

I need to replace my work iPhone 4S as I cant go a day longer with such a terrible phone. Where is the cheapest place to buy a Samsung Galaxy S5. My current sim is from O2 and is a micro sim.

Depends what sort of shop you're wanting to go through really.

You can get them through Amazon for £490 last time I checked, but there's some on there for £420 through third party sellers, and probably cheaper again through eBay shops.
 
I never buy expensive electronics from eBay. £465 on Amazon.

Are all S5 4G compatible? I have a 4G sim from work but they give me a 4S which isnt! :(

It's just the shop specifying that the phone will do LTE.

There are a couple of versions of the S5, but all that are sold in the UK are one model. There's also an Octa-core version in some countries, and the new LTE-A model with a different screen, processor and RAM, but that's only available in Korea.

So anything you buy from a good UK shop will be the standard S5.

The £465 one on amazon is neither sold by, or fulfilled by Amazon. I'd pay the exta £3x and get the one sold by Amazon.
 
Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I'm looking to get an S5 and noticed this on one of the items I was looking at:

The custom rom bit seems a bit odd to me, why would they have done that?

You've answered your own question really. Also having been flashed with a custom rom, the warranty is void iirc.

Walk away.
 
I don't see how they can sell it as "brand new" if it's been opened and had a new ROM flashed thus voiding the warranty.

Avoid.
