$4.99 to rent a game for 4 hours.
yep ^ as expected
unless they can tie it in with ps plus, like a rental or 2 each month then i cant see the point. seems like a waste of resources to me
backwards compatibility is a non issue i don't know why they are bothering tbh. all ps's from now on will be backwards compatible as they have moved to pc architecture.
all that will be needed is a simple emulator. also it wasn't much of a issue last gen where the majority of ps3's weren't fully BC
There is no PS3 emulator for PC yet. Its not that simple if it were we would all be emulating PS3 games on our superior PC's
$6.99 for 7 days is the sweet spot.
TBH though at those prices you could probably buy it, play it and sell it on within a month for similar to what you paid.
This is obviously more convenient though.
