I bought a 280x last week for crossfire. I thought these cards came with bridge connectors but the box was empty except for a driver cd.

Is this an oversight which OCUK can rectify or something new to save costs?

All mine have come with bridges, except the 290X and 290 as they do it through the PCI-E bus.

I never got them with my r9 270x's , and they have the pins for the bridge on the cards, luckily I kept my bridge from the last cards I had :)

Surely that's not OCUKs fault, but the fault of the manufacturer? I wouldn't expect them to open the box prior to shipping!!

AMD CrossFire capable gpu's ship with a CrossFire bridge apart from 290 series as they don't use them.

It is the fault of the manufacturer, but sellers problem-as he bought it from oCuk not the manufacturer.

Usually SLI bridges comes with mobos and Xfire bridges comes with the GPUs.
I already had more than 15x7950s, 10x7970s and 20xR9 280x, all of them came with Xfire bridges from Asus, Sapphire, MSI, Gigabyte and His.

I also 'might' have a spare one. If you need me to look for it, then let me know (I assume an older crossfire bridge will suit a more modern card?).

I got Xfire bridges with both my Motherboard and my Graphics Card. If your Motherboard is Xfire compatible I'd have thought it would have come with a Xfire Bridge included.
