Quintessential ocuk'isms

The hearing ******* (sp?) post was good, and of course the photoshop threads before some white knight delivers.

e: Ok so that word is now blanked out, the misspelling of sirens.

Of course, ElRazur thinking he can rap, and getting bossed by people that truly do not believe they can :)

Anyone got links for these? I tried searching for 'Portable sun', but didn't have a lot of success.

From here http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17998277

A new member posted pictures of his Nova project car with some "background" info. Someone obviously recognised the car from elsewhere, or something didn't add up and BS was called.
So the guy said "to prove it I'll take a picture of it in my garage right now!" - this was at night, and the picture showed a unit with a glass roof and bright sunlight streaming through the skylights....

Also for nostalgia

They are both from the motors forum and are both many years old now.

The portable sun was some guy was posting photos of "his" new BMW car in various poses. Some were skeptical because there was something fishy about the thread and the pictures, so the OP said he would nip out to take some more and when he returned and posted more, someone pointed out it was 10pm or something and yet the picture was in broad daylight. The OPs response was that he had a "portable sun." That is an actual quote.

The arse roof was this car:

that was bought by a member of this forum, known as Gazza2 or similar. (I'm unsure if that is him in that pic.) Gazza2, elated with his new toy, created a thread and posted plenty of pictures to show off his new car. Someone replied with "Why is there an arse on the roof?" and basically Gaz lost it and went mental, gave the trolls plenty of food and it went nuclear.

However it did take a sorry twist in that someone vandalised his car pretty badly (keyed every panel of the car) and Gazza2 posted it here and elsewhere in the hopes of finding the vandal. I doubt it was a member of this forum responsible for the vandalism, but some of the responses were pretty reprehensible none the less and, personally, I think it went too far.
