Aside from the inane waffling, it's a good comparison of the rumored design versus some of the other handsets on the market.

Bigger then the Note 3 on the 5.5" model, ouch, even more when it compared to the G3. They really need to sort out those bottom/top sections.

I do agree but they will want to keep their round home/fingerprint button and keep the top and bottom even. Also, being so late making a 4.7" inch phone, it would be very hard to not make it look like half the android phones from the past couple of years.
 
I'm in the same boat as a few here.

Due an upgrade in August. Do I go for the M8 or wait it out and see what the IP6 delivers? Or wait even longer and see what the "next" new phones bring? How long is that likely to be?
 
If you're waiting for the next big thing you'll never buy anything!

Pick the one with the features you want most :)
 
Bigger than the Note3, well that's the 5.5 out of the equation then. I'm thinking 4.7 will be the sweet spot.

Definitely waiting for the 6 with anticipation, my aging 4s took a tumble last week and the back cracked :(
 
The recent rumours are suggesting that the 5.5" model is going to be deemed the "high end" model, which is kinda annoying as it means that people who don't want to carry around a behemoth, are going to possibly miss out on features like image stabilisation, sapphire screen etc :/

The back is so easy to replace! :eek:

2 screws at the bottom and you can change it in 5 seconds!! (may need a pentalobe screwdriver, but most kits on eBay would come with one)

This would be a kick in the balls to the most vocal group online, given all blogger like smaller devices I'm sure they would cause a small riot lol. I don't think Apple is stupid enough to do that. the rMini and Air are almost the same outside of the color gamut.
 
I was pondering moving to iOS with the iPhone 6, but if they both end up that big I doubt it very much. The bezels are whopping, even the 4.7" looks bigger and clunkier than my 2 year old GS3?

Its not, its slightly taller, the S3 is a bit wider, and the S3 is thicker, but the S3 is 4.8" display and pretty old now so its not a great standard as bezel on phones are stupid thin now ala LG G3.

That's what I was getting it, this thing is 2 years old and still is about as sleek looking as these supposed iPhone 6 mockups. LG have really set the standard now and I hoped Apple would match them, admittedly with a larger bottom lip for the TouchID button. Oh well wait and see I guess! It might be ok in the hand if it really is that thin, if not I hope the Note 4 is worth waiting for.

I have a 32GB 4S which isn't big enough but no way am I paying nearly 900 euros for a 5S; my son's nokia 625 looks nice I can see me buying a windows phone.

Never ever going to happen, whatever excuse people give you its just about pure profit, you paying £80-£100 for the next set up when it cost apple £2-5 is 20x margins here, they would never give that up.

Indeed.
It sucks, but that's the cold hard truth of it.
 
It's the apple store which keeps me with apple products. I just love it's ease of use and you can switch between the stores quite easily.

Just wish the windows and google play stores were as good.

Apple is the only store I can easily use the USA or UK store here in Belgium (without VPN connections)
