Does anyone know any property search sites that give you the option to filter by if the place had a basement/cellar.

Cheers

I've never seen a search term for that in any of the property search sites. You'll have to use individual estate agent websites (if they offer that function) or ring around.

yeah shame its a common option on all the American sites which is what google brings up when you try to look for it. guess they're too rare here to bother adding the feature.

To actually help you, OP. Zoopla offer an advanced search feature, type in cellar/basement in the keywords box and should work. Don't actually put with that / though, search with each term individually.

Just bought all the latex/PVC gear and realised you need somewhere to set up a dungeon? :D

why would i hide the dungeon in the basement? the dungeon goes in the front room so the neighbors can see it's high quality finish

Anything pre 1910 is likely to have a cellar, you can usually tell from the outside as the window grille will be at the front.
I wish builders would put them into modern houses, useful places to put a boiler.

Modern houses aren't built with the intention to last more than 30 years.

That can't be true

Isn't the issue with basements something to do with the water table? Ie flooding risk is much higher in England.

nop no issue with water tables they're waterproofed.

flooding would only be a risk if you live on a flood plane which is silly basement or not
