** CORSAIR REFURB COOLERS - MEGA DEALS - 1 YEAR WARRANTY AT OCUK **

Just ordered the h100i for my media pc should keep it cool enough, there are horror stories with any product.

OCUK have never done me wrong in the past that's why I continue to shop here :)

I was planning on buying an H100i in the next few weeks but part of me is still a bit put off by the refurb warranty. I'm not worried that it won't be honoured, it's more that if Corsair aren't offering their usual 5 year warranty then it suggests they think these units are more likely to fail, and it's the hassle of the return that puts me off. Postage to NI puts one of these at £70 which isn't massively less than a brand new one.
 
It's tempting to try one of these but I think I'll stick with my silver arrow. Price would need to be lower for me to open my wallet.

It isnt true, last year bought a refurb h100 and its still rocking fine, these units also sometimes come with a 1yr sticker instead of a 90day one and apparently they honor it.

Well, yeah, but just because the odds might be a bit higher doesn't mean every unit is going to implode! :p Like I said when the price difference to a new unit is so low after shipping to NI there's not a lot of reason not to go with a new unit rather than a refurb. The lower warranty may just be because some of the parts have been used for whatever time period before they had to be refurbed but again, why not new for the sake of a bit more than ten quid?

The CM specs page says a double or triple 120 mm radiator will fit in the roof so a H100i should.

No one is forcing you to buy one, probably more profit for the etailer anyway if you buy new so go for it :p

I could tell you some horrific stories about the corsair H50 I installed 5 years ago in a rig of expensive equipment with a bottom mounted PSU.

The last set of AIO refurbed coolers had a 12 month warranty and was confirmed multiple times by shop staff in these very forums, so at least match what was offered before.

Read the Thread.

officially, as a retailler, we have to advertise a 90 day warranty period.

Corsair have said, unofficially that this 'may not be the case' as they deal with their RMAs not OcUK
