780gtx sc sli running on a 750w PSU?

It should be fine. With a single 780 I am seeing a peak of 290-320w at the wall while gaming. Stressing the cpu and gpu both at the same time makes the power draw go over 400w at the wall but that's not normal usage anyway.

Ignore those people, you'll be lucky if you pull more then 400w from the wall with a system running a single card.

400w from the wall at 80% efficiently equates to an actual power consumption of 320w

Right ok but I can't see my antec 750 watt managing 2 gtx 780.i don't think I could risk it.

It is also depending on the built quality and the Amps it can deliver at the 12V Rail. We (as a graka manifacturer) do with our PSUs also always have SLI systems in mind and we do also produce dual CPU motherboards which should run with our PSUs, so maybe not all 750s will support it. Lowrider went for ours so he do not need to worry :)
PS: With this PSU you can also get the game RISE OF THE TRIADE, if you do not have it so far you need to register it to your account, upload the invoice then you can request the code at the promo page

So you're whole system would be lucky to pull over 300w under load and you're concerned about adding another card?

If you're having concerns even after people have said you'll be fine then why even make the thread to begin with?

What model is the psu? It's all about what the psu can deliver on the 12v rail. Sometimes this can be a long way short of what the wattage says on the label, especially the cheaper ones where a lot of the wattage is made up on the minor rails.

please have a closer look, there is the guy that startet this thread with a EVGA unit and someone else with a Antec unit
The EVGA 750G2 can handle it, no question :)
