Can't see how - Roche and Harris seem more opportunistic in their currently alleged offences - Saville was a predator in the true sense of the word, every decision he made, the employment he sought was all to put him in a position to rape children, which he did for an incredibly long period of time.
 
The top three stories on the news last night were about Roache, Travis and Harris. It was weird and a little disturbing. They could have called the program "Sex at Six".
 
So what everyone think of the woman that has come forward, not sure how I can understand her going on holiday with his family after being repeatedly abused on previous occasions. Also continuing to stay the night at the family home :s

He was in a position of power (famous male) and he used this to prey on a vulnerable child (these predators don't target children at random, they learn which ones to avoid).

She probably thought it was her fault through the whole thing, which is quite common among young victims.

Was thinking that myself, really quite disturbing to think of how often people like Harris and Savile were on the TV and the influence they've had on UK society, all the time these things were going on behind closed doors (I know they were on a different level to each other but still).
 
They are saying lots more have come forward since the trial stating they have been molested. Maybe more charges to come!
 
Well yes, obviously Rolf is a sinister man who took advantage of young girls, but he pales in comparison to Savile. And Rolf will apparently have to pay for his crimes, whereas Savile got away.

It's disappointing news all the same. I cannot help but wonder when the Crankey's will be getting arrested.

I also wonder what sort of impact this will have on men working with kids. If I wanted to become a children's entertainer, I'd be worried people thought my motives were less than pure.

Stupid law question incoming, if he is charged and sentenced for indecent assault, does that preclude him from being charged again with the same offence? Or can the courts take new evidence after the trial to re open the case and determine if he needs sentencing for longer?
