I'm in the market for a good looking headphone stand to hold two sets of cans. Maybe single ones and buy two if not too expensive.

Think mrk had one I liked in a photo but dunno where I saw it. Some of the woo audio ones look nice too but pretty expensive.

Any recommendations?

(please no "you can get a banana stand for 99p from asda." I'm after something abit classier than that.)

Thanks.

My £4 mug tree looks classy, it's even made of shiny metal :p

There are some good single HP stands in the rain forest at reasonable prices (£20~£30) but we can't link to them for obvious reasons.

ROOMs Audio Line have a few different styles, Sieveking Sounds Omega or Woo Audio do single or double adjustable tree type stand.

Should be able to find all for under a 100 quid.

Banana Tree works fine but the thin metal will "cut" into your nice headband over time.

I have to do it,

Shamelessly :D

I made a few out of K'Nex (useful for you cool dudes/fathers/midle aged men stuck in the past), I also made a few from holders/clips - places like IKEA have a good selection of this kind of thing (e.g. this or this).

Best bet is to get creative and make your own, easy peasy with access to basic woodwork or metalwork tools :)

Had no idea you sold them. Not really after the diy or mug tree look when hanging expensive cans on them. As above the Silverstone looks good and not really that expensive when compared to similar stands.

Worth adding a photo to listing with headphones on it.

Thanks for recommendations.

Pfft! How dare you, some people are quite capable with diy ty...

Have a look through here, if you have the time its a lot cheaper and more rewarding/pleasing than just buying one :p

Example #1 (Post #2820 Page 188 if it doesnt auto-direct to it)- thread here.

Plumbing supplies are useful too, I've seen lots of stands made out of a few bits of plastic tubing a couple of end caps and a T-piece :D

I had no idea these were sold on overclockers. Think the silverstone would be a better option for me out of the 2. Glass on a pc desk just seems like an accident waiting for happen for me.

Never liked the idea of a flat board to support the headphones, always wondered what kind of impact it would leave on the band.
