US: Californication - Season 6

Enjoying season 7 quite a bit. Michael Imperioli is a baller. His outbursts and constant profanity is bringing back so many memories of The Sopranos.

I still enjoy it, however this season has been a bit flat compared to previous. Not enough getting in trouble. However I am glad to see less of his ex wife and daughter, they were starting to annoy me. This is I believe the last season, and maybe that's a good thing. Don't jump the shark an all.

The daughter annoyed the bejebus out of me so it's nice that she's not in. It doesn't feel like a last season at all. He's just not crazy and dark enough. Bring back the drugs and alcohol!

Yeah, if he ends up being a well-adjusted 9-5 script writer it will literally be one of the worst television program endings in history.

I found the daughter pretty whiny and annoying, but have a massive crush on the ex wife - Natascha McElhone - so that wasn't so bad for me...

I'm so glad that boring dreary daughter was only in this series for half an episode.

I liked all the references in the final speech too.

Me too, I really really hated her character. Completely wooden, spoke in the same tone all the time, and was just a general moody annoying teenager.

Wouldn't say the ending was great (Breaking Bad), nor would I say it was terrible (Dexter) just kind of average.

There really wasn't much build up just a pretty meh season that's probably the weakest of all seven. It just feels like a show that was funny and shocking initially just petered out towards the end.
