The man who lives in 1946

I saw this earlier and impressed with the commitment and the detail. I can see his fascination, apart from the fridge, but its not something I would attempt. Happily visit as I love the cars and mod cons from the '40's.
 
He actually lives, at this moment in time, in 2014 but his stuff is from the 40's. If he lived in 1946 there could be some horrible Goodnight Sweetheart rubbish at play.
 
Each to their own. I couldn't live that like to be honest because I'm a slave to the internet. However, I do like Glenn Miller and I do like the fashion of lady's back then. I wonder if this guy has a girl friend and if he does, does he make her dress in 1940's apparel ? Bit weird. :eek:

He seems quite camp to me.
Would be ironic if he was gay, loving to live in a time where he was not welcome.
 
He has 2 years to go before he can turn up at an A&E but on the plus side he can build what he wants on his land.
 
Couldn't do it but in some ways I don't blame him, obviously slightly bonkers but if he is having fun and getting satisfaction from some of the simpler things in life then props to him.
