Anybody else feel a slight shortness of breath when they first started vaping? Been feeling it today slightly.

What could it be? Never had it smoking analogues, but for some reason the far less harmful vaping is making me short of breath?

Probably due to not smoking cigarettes tbh. I get a bit of asthma when I don't smoke fags. They act a bit like ventolin apparently

You get what you pay for when it comes to most things in life, and juice is a good example of this.
TJuice is more expensive, about £13 per 30ml, but does have a much better flavour.
Cheaper juice will have flavour, but that will dissipate quickly during a vape.
Grab some Red Astaire from TJuice if you like the menthol flavours, it's £13 in my local vape shop.

I'm totally different to my missus when it comes to juice. I'll only vape decent, nice juice whereas she will vape a sweaty sock.

A few more that are worth a look.... :)

Also, theres this place..

http://www.smokerainbow.com/

....an interesting idea.

By the way, if you like a caramel flavoured vape, try Scopes Secret Sauce. Its awesome!

Ahh I see. I was doing some research this morning on the shortness of breath issue, and apparently the VG/PG ratio could have an effect? Also nicotine strength was noted as one of the factors, but I'm only vaping 12mg so don't think it's that.

Smoking 12mg at the moment and it doesn't say what the VG/PG % is so no idea.

Have a look at the website as that should say.

Just make your own at a 10th of the price. £13 lmfao.

What difference do the VG/PG ratios make?

With some people it's the VG that causes what you two got and some it's PG.
I've gone from 70%pg 30%vg to 60\40 now.
Don't forget to drink water..no not tea or coffee\beer lol.

Only just started vaping?

If you have stopped smoking your lungs will be adjusting to the lack of cancer.
Expect to be coughing up crud, things tasting weird, and lung capacity to increase.

You wont be suffering from a shortness of breath for long, maybe a couple of weeks at most.

I used to love a coffee with a ciggie :(

And hopefully you're right CaNsA.

Imo you will be fine still drinking coffee after a vape, just remember to drink more water during the day.
As above the shortness of breath is common, I found that vaping a higher VG juice stopped this.
I make my own now, and they are all at 50\50 I also found I didn't have to drink as much water also :)
If I vape a 70\30 juice now, I get an instant dry mouth and funny aftertaste, so a higher VG deffo suits me

There's nothing wrong with drinking coffee and vaping.
I, and many many others, have been doing it for over a year and we aint deaded yet.

People usually know when they are thirsty, then they have a drink.
