Well who else cant wait to get their hands on this sexy Motherboard?

According to the ROG Website Available in July. Hopefully Dont have to wait to much longer
 
The boards delayed till late August, someone on this forum got a reply from Asus on twitter saying it's been delayed.

I'd love to have this board but I've almost got everything else for my system I'm thinking of just getting the Gigabyte G1 instead.

This is the same RoG FB page which says "The Maximus VII Impact is out" when it clearly isn't. :p It wouldn't surprise me if they've been delayed, that would certainly explain why they've still not updated the vague Q3 release date for the Impact even though we're already a week into Q3...

So hope this is true, I was literally just typing my password in the Overclockers shop to purchase the G1.
 
What's the appeal with these boards? I've seen some around £300. What makes it worth that much compared to the £95 I paid for mine in sig?
 
I admit they do look the business, and the armour on them is appealing to me. But I'd have to somehow get mine black and blue, and no idea how to do that easily to this, especially those ram slots.
 
Think it was Gigabyte or MSI that had Black/Blue and possibly some Asus range in the past but not ROG as always Black/Red.
 
The ROG boards tend to have beefier components, better power phase and more extensive tweaking options in the bios. The latter though the vast majority of people will never use. And i include myself in that category tbh.

Ive seen a formula 6 build on another forum where the owner painted the armour white. Looked pretty good with the red accents.

Not the Formula per se. but I'm seriously considering a nice Impact ITX board to go with a Haswell quad early next year. :D
