Just finished watching The Armstrong Lie documentary on Ch4. Some of it was duplicated from the BBC program but it also showed a lot more from his side. Interesting to see the behind the scenes in the 2009 comeback.

Indeed.
I watched the C4 program which was interesting. I can't get over how much of a scumbag he is, not just for doping, but also for what he said and did to others in order to cover it up. His ego was beyond massive. He is a horrible person.

Rife in professional sports. When you are paid obscene amounts to perform at the highest level, you will gladly seek an extra edge by using relatively safe compounds. Just don't forget to lie about it/get angry when people accuse you of doing so!

For his doping and lying he was no worse than almost all the rest at the time. For me what he did to Christophe Bassons was unforgivable though, a genuine honest bloke in the peloton.
