Bitfenix Prodigy Query

hdd bay has been gone a long time to fit in the gpu which now gets me thinking will it fit in with the gpu : / think im gonna wait to get home and have a look at it
 
I have a H100i with in my Mini-ITX Prodigy case, fits fine with my ASUS GTX 780.

You will have to remove the 5.25" bay though as mentioned above, so no more optical drive if you need one.
 
i have the mini itx version of the prodigy

no optical drive in it as 99% of my games come from either steam or humblebundle so there all downloads

only problem i think i m have is how high the gpu is quite sure it wont be a problem any way going to order the cooler later and if theres a problem with it just sell it on, also as i stated above the hdd bay is not a problem as thats been out of it and lost a long time.

I'd be willing to bet it not only will fit but is specifically designed to fit two 120mm fans and hence this rad!

The biggest restriction will be the size of an aftermarket cooler for your CPU. I own the same case but have a Thermaltake FRIO cooler and that didn't leave enough room for the 120mm fan I had attached to the top.

Make sure you update this thread and let us know how it fit.
 
If you do a quick search you will find that it will fit as suggested above. I have the bitfenix phenom which is an even tighter fit due to the larger cooler from my gpu but even then i have about 10 -15mm to spare.

if this is referring to me I've been to bust to check back on the forums to reply. I am how ever going to order the cooler at some point today and ill post back with an update on how it fits and how simple it was to get inside the case !
 
quick update !

package arrived and all has gone fine installing it, ive never worked with a closed loop cooler before or any custom cooler to be honest usually just stuck with the stock cooler as ive never gone the overclocking route,

so its all in there and the problem with it hanging to low to the gpu wasn't a problem

not sure you can see it that well in the image but its no where near the gpu like i though it would be.

the one and only problem i found was the screws for mounting the rad to the top of the case push the dust plate up slightly as there not flat,

thats not to much of a big deal ill just fine some screw to fit with flat heads.
