Hi Guys,

Would the Enermax TB Silence UCTB12 be a good match for these rads? Going for a fairly silent set up.

They run at 900rpm and are claim to be only 11dBA!

The static pressure looks quite low though, 0.828 mm-H2O.

Given that I'll have a 360mm XT45 in push/pull and a 240mm ST30 in push, will they be able to cool a 3570k and a pair of R9 290s in crossfire, all with a healthy overclock?

I'm hoping that the lower static pressure will be offset by the amount of radiator space and I'm thinking push/pull on the XT45 to again help with the low static pressure.

All EK blocks if that matters and EK D5 pump.

Thanks.

Those rads don't particularly require high SP given that they're fairly slim, are low fpi and are pretty much optimised for using fans at lower speeds.

You should be ok, though I might suggest alternatives depending on your budget and whether or not you're happy/able to use a fan controller if necessary.

No fan controller as there will be no where to put it. I have a 10 way PWM splitter PCB I will be powering everything off. I'll be looking for 8 fans so I would like to keep it to under £10 per fan.

PWM is definitely an option and I was looking Akasa Apache Blacks PWM but I want to paint the fan blades white and these cannot be taken apart according to the internets.

Hey

Just out of interest where did you get a 10 way PWM splitter from? as it would make my life a lot easier if I can get hold of one

Cheers

I found a guy on eBay who makes them, but he only made 3 of them. I don't know if he will be making more. I picked up the Swiftech 8 way one first before I thought about running 8 PWM fans and a PWM D5 also.

Those fans certainly have the right stats, unfortunately I'm going for a black and white theme and Akasa fans don't seem to be taken apart for painting.
