Guy with a problem, Kingpin 780ti or Titan black Edition - what would you do ?

The titan black is worth more and he may be able to cash in and buy a kingpin again as it's the faster card. Might all be too much hassle though for the sake of a few quid.

Does he know so far he will not be able to mess with voltage on the Titan Black (it does have voltage control though), so may not hit a high Core.

depands i guess, TitanB seem a good deal, but you have to consider the extra cost if you are planning on SLI.

Toughie but I would take the Titan Black purely for longevity.

+1

On a serious note it is a bit of a non contest for high resolution, even using 4 Kingpins would be totally useless for 4K. The number of times I have run out of VRAM @4K using 4gb cards is bad, let alone using 3gb ones.

If he's not benching it then Black all day long. They still overclock quite well. My best one does 1350 core in FS and over 2100 memory (yes that's not a typo, two of them do 2100 on Hynix).

Queue the AMD 'benchers' reading that thinking Hrhr but that's only 400gb/s (not aimed at anyone who posts regularly or isn't banned :p)

The Kingpin is an awesome card but it's a waste of potential unless you plan on really pushing it on at least warm water.

Take the Titan BE.

Sell it.

Buy two 290Ps and waterblocks.

Sorted.

Nice, but my cheapo 290P's with crappy Elpida top out at 416GB's. :p

I don't want to hear about theoretical bandwidth limits especially when talking about Elpida :p.

I'm able to see what's going on when I'm running those clocks as well which is an added bonus :D
