Here is my criteria.

Dimensions no bigger than 520mm x 520 x 230 (H,D,W)
Holds ATX (Mid Size case)
Front Mesh able to hold 1 x 120mm fan minimum
Side window
Front I/O minimum of 2 usb 3.0 ports (any extra 2.0 ports are a bonus)
Doesn't look too flashy (I like simplistic designs)
Removable HDD bays
SSD bay x1

So after scouring the internet I've come up with these options.

NXT Phantom 410 Enthusiast
Corsair Obsidian 450D

When looking at the Corsair case I found out it doesn't come with a usb 3.0 to 2.0 adapter, does this mean that 2.0 devices won't work in these ports? As I have a headset mixer controller that is 2.0 that I plug into the front (I remove it often to plug into my PS4).

Many Thanks.

If you have any other suggestions I could look at also they'd be welcome

Thank you for the suggestion but from what I just read it wouldn't support something like a top mounted rad so if I wanted to buy something like a corsair 100i I wouldn't be able to install at the top.

I have a little leeway with the depth of the case but not width or height.
I think my options to choose from are as follows.

Corsair Obsidian 450D High Airflow Mid-Tower Case

Corsair Carbide 300R Mid Tower Windowed Case - Black

Cooler Master CM-690 III Advanced Midi-Tower

NZXT Phantom 410 Enthusiast Midi Tower Case - White

BitFenix Ronin Tower Case - Black

Any suggestions on these?

USB 3 is backward compatible with USB 2.

Thank you, I knew that was the case but was confused as to why when I read a review for this case it stated as a negative that it didn't include a USB 3.0 to 2.0 adapter for the front I/O.

I am always torn back to the 450d just because of how simple and nice it looks (not a fan of flashy cases) and all the dust filters. Think im going to definitely choose between the 450d, phantom or the cm 690...i'm just really bad at making a final decision haha.

If I get the corsair and have front mounted 2 x 140mm and a rear 1 x 120mm fan (included with case) can I control the speed of these fans via software? or do I need a fan controller?
