I get about 3 bars on my 5c on EE in my house but 1 bar and slow 1 meg speed on my s5 same network etc.

It'll be down to the poor antennas that Samsung use in their phones. It's well known.

You can get them new for around £450 on amazon.

Third party store but fulfilled through Amazon, so you can be sure it's not a fake, as it's all actually processed by Amazon themselves.

There's a lot less of a chance though that something from an unknown eBay seller. And you'll also have a new one next day if it were to be a fake.

I'm having a bit of a problem, when I take pictures they have a grey thumbnail and pretty much the shot I've taken is non-existent.

has anyone got usb 3 to work on the S5, tried a few cables and pc's and it never shows the usb 3 option like the note 3..

It's working fine. I'm using a Samsung USB 3 cable connected to a Windows 8.1 64 bit PC:

You do have to select the option every time you use USB 3 and you get this message:

I don't even get the option to select Media device (USB 3) on mine, just the top 2.

I am connecting to a USB 3 port and have other devices connected at USB 3 speeds, so I know the port/cable is okay.

I wonder if this is because my S5 only shipped with a micro USB cable that only fits into the right half of the charging/data port and not the wider cable that I've seen that was shipped with other S5s that fills the entire port on the bottom of the device?

Edit - a quick Google would suggest that this is the case and I need to buy a different cable for USB 3 use - http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/blog/201...5s-usb-3-0-port-with-these-high-speed-cables/
