I think this is the right part of forum to ask this, if not, fell free to move the thread. =)

What's the difference between these 2, part from the price that is ?? It don't say anything in the description as to why one set is Manufacturer Refurbished. Does it mean the item broke and they fixed it or is it more like a ex demo item ??
If there is nothing serious "wrong" with the refurbish one, would be a nice little saving that could go towards my total postage cost instead. :D (since living outside UK wont benefit from free postage. :( )

YOUR BASKET
1 x Corsair Hydro H100i High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler (CW-9060009-WW) £91.66
1 x Corsair Hydro H100i CPU Cooler *Manufacturer Refurbished Unit - 1 Year Warranty £62.49
Total : £185.08 (includes shipping : £24.74).

I'd not normally buy a new AOI, as there are a few air coolers that do as good a job (perhaps even slightly better) for about the same money.
But a refurbed one, particularly the H100, was such a good deal I'd have been silly not to!

There's a theory that a refurbed unit has already been fixed up and been given full scrutiny to ensure it's in good nick, so is less likely to fail than an off-the-shelf one that has simply been through a quick QA.
Just a theory though, I'm sure... Either way, I'm very happy with mine! :D

Got a refurb myself, in come cases they've just been returned with missing bits etc. IT doesn't mean they were all faulty and they fixed them. Get a one year warranty anyway. The money you save can be spent on better fans if you find them too noisy which you likely will.

I see nothing wrong with buying a *Manufacturer Refurbished Unit* at a discount, as like has been said the manufacturer will have checked over that unit individually to make sure everything is as it should be. So in theory should have gone through more checks than your normal retail unit.
