Can you right now without looking it up define what precisely counts as a chance created?
With effectively every corner taken being a "chance created", because surely a ball into the penalty area with 2-3 players throwing themselves at it, counts as a chance?
Corner takers, freekick takers often have the highest chances created.... it is fairly meaningless. It doesn't differentiate between great chance and terrible chance in any way at all.
Everything on the break, the Germans are good enough not to be caught out like that too often, and the Argentinians aren't good enough to break them down any other way.
