***The Official Battlefield 4 Thread***

It’s generally miles better than it used to, you still get the odd bit now and again (mainly on Hainan Resort, when the hotel comes down), but it’s a much improved experience and how it should have been from the off not 6 months later :p

Might be worth having a play with the "high frequency update" and "network smoothing" settings in the gameplay options. I think I use Medium and 0%, but might have the smoothing at around 20%. If it put the update setting to high I start to jerk around a lot.
 
Tried to rent a server last night. Turns out we can't as the european option is greyed out, can only pick asia or australia and that's not much use to us :p
 
I take it most of you guys on PS4 have premium?

I'd jump from Xbox to PS4 but I really don't want to buy premium twice, that just seems ludicrous.

I wonder if it was just a glitch or temporary thing. I hope so.

I feel like our little community may die out unless we are able to set up our own server as that's what everyone seems to want ;)

I'll still keep playing regardless.
My main problem with this game at the moment is trying to find a decent server. There just seems to be a LOAD more private than official server and loads have stupid rules or say "Metro/Locker 24/7 6billion tickets!!!!"
Plus it REALLY annoys me that Dice still haven't mixed up DLC and normal maps together :mad:

Should have done the sensible thing and bought premium on PS4 to start with :p

They've learned nothing from BF3 in that respect really. There should be a healthy supply of official servers for all game types, difficulty levels (I prefer playing Hardcore), DLC etc yet it always seems such a struggle to find a decent server that's either official, or hasn't got arbitrary restrictions on what weapons/classes you can use.
