Dear All,

We have just moved into our 1st property and we have no chain as we where 1st time buyers. We finally exchanged after 9 months off kicking and annoying the hell of the estate agent and the vendor who we threaten to walk away from the property as she was talking the pee.

I am looking for advise for our mixer tap in the bathroom, where even though there is good water pressure whilst using the shower more than half of the water still comes out of the mixer tap.

Any help and advise on this ?

Thanks Bash25

If the tap/shower mixer has a pull out type diverter valve, try screwing the pull bit down a little whilst the shower is running.

Dear JohnnyG the mixed tap does have pull up type diverter value, but where would I find the screw ?

Also could this issue be due the hose and shower had maybe having limescale ?

Thanks Bash25.

There's no screw as such, just try turning the barrel shaped bit where the shower hose joins the tap body.

Thanks JohnnyG. I just tried it about 5 minutes ago and it has had no effect.

It looks like I will need to replace the mixer.
