Atheist gives the invocation prayer in New York.

Great idea I came across a similar building when I was travelling, it was mona vale Sydney called Baha’i Temple, house of worship open to all faiths.

They've got quite a few around the world.
In Delhi they have the Lotus Temple which looks amazing.

though I really do hope they get a few Jedi and some flying spaghetti monster worshipers too

I hope they do as well.
From the people I know who say they follow these religions, all they will do is moan that this is not inclusive and that they won't be allowed in despite the fact they never tried

Maybe that says more about you than them though....:p

Londoners are just like that, no other city has such odd natives :( and god they are boring. I worked in an office full of of them and they did nothing but talk about house prices.
You walk around Manchester, Birmingham or Sheffield and people are noticeably nicer.

Luckily I was living around a lot of Australians, who are probably the nicest people outside of Canada :)

Only you could work in a single office of boring people and decree the rest of that city boring as a result.

Same goes for the Aussie thing.

Maybe you misunderstand sample size.
All Londoners, Canadians and Australians in my sample appeared to be of a type. Now that doesn't prove that this applies to the majority but it was true of my experience.
Should I meet anyone different I'll reassess my opinion, otherwise I won't :)

Stereotypes work, try finding someone unfriendly in Sheffield, I never did.
