You don't have to fill out the personal details on the last page, so it would be difficult for them to send promo stuff anyway.

Isn't offering a prize just for voting, against the spirit of the awards? People should do it if they want with no incentive. Or am I just being old fashioned?

I somehow got signed up to their newsletter once. I tried to unsubscribe but still kept on getting sent e-mails. I complained but never heard anything back. In the end, I just had to mark it as spam until eventually GMail learnt to automatically send it to the trash folder.

I'd steer clear of giving PC Pro your e-mail address.

Was a hard choice between kerbal and minecraft, many schools do actually use them as educational tools

If I get any email spam from them I will set up google to auto forward it to any of their emails I can find

Or if you want to be entered into the draw, set up an e-mail account for the purpose and delete it once you know you haven't won.

Unfortunately most people won't take the time to answer the questions if there isn't an incentive, which is a shame in reality.
