Ideas for redecorating rented room (holes in wall?)

You will be climbing the walls after a few months in that room. Make sure to clear up the dirty needles first before you move in. I find it hard to believe you can not find a room in a shared house for that money. What are your neighbours like ?

You'll need to key and undercoat the surfaces before you apply gloss.

Or just key them and apply satinwood.

Make sure they're free of dust and grease after you've keyed them, - wipe with a bit of white spirit on a rag.

Haha, this is so much cheaper it's unreal. It's also in a beautiful area. Size wise, I don't mind, I've just come from smaller and ****tier! Kind of looking forward to it.

To be honest, I'm expecting to be working a lot, so for the first couple of months, I don't think I'll be concerned!

Thanks for the tip. Going to go up to the place tomorrow and will take better pictures. Will keep a log of the progress. :)

That is a damn expensive place to live. My two bedroom flat 20 minutes from central london is only £1300 odd/m + bills

Single or Double rooms are WAY lower, from 150 - 500 depending on place/area/size etc.
