Lol as I've said in a previous thread I have neighbours who are Muslim and they invited me round to watch the football even bought beer for me to drink. I didn't once feel like they were plotting my demise

More importantly when did you get the right to judge if someone is a Muslim or not?
Also rather depressing that you blame mental illness for it, stigmatizing illness by associating them with conscious willful acts of evil is rather a backwards step. Not to mention a psychopath would be unlikely to take part in a suicide bombing.

.By that incredibly wide ranging description they would fit the bill. I agree they most likely wouldn't be suicide bombers if they did indeed have those traits but don't they tend to have the ability to warp more impressionable minds into becoming suicide bombers to achieve their own goals.

Dhimmitude. There were a few Al-Queda types on this forum who used to argue that forcing non-Muslims to pay a Dhimmi tax was in their best interests. Can't remember who they were, wonder if they're still around and willing to defend this?

There will always be select groupls of people who are going to want to cause fights, kill others and impose their views on them. Part of this need for violence is in our very nature.
If it wasn't in the name of religion it would be in the name of something else. Religion is just a convenient crutch with which to justify their actions, and also manipulate lesser educated people. Have no illusions, it is about power not religious ideals.
When ISIS do it, we call it invasion. When America did it, we call it liberation.
The definition used just depends on which side of the fence you sit, but the end result is the same. Suffering, death and destruction because one party or another wants power and control.

Extremists will make any religion look bad.
Just remember the Westboro Baptist Church exists too, and whilst they don't go as far as killing people, they will picket peoples funerals and spread hate speech against gays in the name of god. Other Christians don't condone what they do, like-wise normal Muslims don't condone what extremists Muslims do either.

Difference is, Westboro Baptist Church is what? 50 people tops. How many Islamic extremists are there in this country never mind the world, considerably more I would suggest. As abhorrent as WBC are, at least they haven't killed anyone.

How many Muslims are you friends with or know professionally?
WBC aren't the only extreme Christian people, you could go as far as looking at cases like the Christians who refuse to get their children looked at by doctors because they believe "God will heal them", and they ultimately die. There's lots of extreme cases in every religion, the point I'm making is that you can't judge an entire religion by the actions of the minority, because cases like this exist in every religion, they're just not as obvious as killing people like Muslim extremists.
