A bargain at only £LOL.

;)

Have you seen the price of the SMP Full Carbon? A snip at only $800...

On another note, my road.cc fantasy team. Picked the top 9 riders today! Hope there is some kind of prize for top score as surely I've got to be up there for the daily score!

Anyone got a good price on 25mm inner tubes? I have 18-23mm inner tubes coming out of my ears but nothing for 25mm... Halfords are doing 5 own brand tubes for £9.99, which seems about the best option so far!

Just run your 23mm tubes they'll be fine.

Well just over 7hr30 in the saddle today, rode out to a friends for lunch then back.

He follows a raw food juice only diet, and gave me a bottle of juice made from carrot, apple, nettle, ginger, pepper, and some herbs. It was bloody lovely I tells ya! Worked wonders too for energy levels.

Putting it in NewFiles right?
Yer, course :).

Folk with turbo trainers... Do you bother with one of those "thong" things that go across the top tube to save your bike from your sweat?

Yes, the salt can be quite damaging, much like living by the sea for your cars bodywork, but much more concentrated.

Boo, after doing 6000km on my clinchers.

I flat a tubular only maybe 5th or 6th time out. Glass or something cut straight through the casing and made a small hole in the tub, not sure when it happened, but I was able to do my race and ride home on it.

Sucks that I possibly need a new tyre now.

I removed them both from the wheels, the glue came off the rear quite easy but the front was stuck well. I think the Conti glue is just junk as I followed the instructions exactly twice now and it just doesn't stick and is quite brittle.

Going to have the LBS glue them up for me and hoping that he can bung some sealant in the cut one rather than use my spare tyre on there.

Does indeed look like gunk, as I've said mine definitely do not look like that and are only coming off with a lot of heat applied! Might have to get the tub repaired, which sometimes can be more expensive than just buying a new one!

Back from a couple of weeks in France.

Didn't see the tour and made the last minute decision not to take bikes. Good job too as the car broke down in Paris and we had to transfer everything from a 5 series touring with roofbox to a renault Modus. Bikes would have broken the camels back.

Two weeks of vin et fromage and I'm 68.9kg. :(

What did you use Vittoria Mastik?

To remove them I just deflated to 5psi or so, pushed them to one side to break the glue bond, turned the wheel round and did the same. Then I was able to pop the tub off the rim and work it round from there.
