Of course you need to inform the manufacturer as they obviously had an issue during production when they were made and other packs could be contaminated. This is potentially a serious food contamination risk and they need to investigate asap. A kid could end up eating one and not be so lucky.

Having worked in food manufacture my whole working life, I know they'll want to get to the bottom of it. These are the sorts of incidents that make people in food manufacturing worry.

I mean open packet, knock said paper onto tray cook it then transfer to plate.

No there was nothing else apart from the dippers on the plate. I picked up what appeared to be a normal dipper. That thing was inside it.... No doubt.

I once carved a chicken and the breast on one side had a weird dark patch that smelled a bit off.
I actually wondered if it was some kind of cancer :S and did not eat said breast
