I'm a Qc at birds eye. This product was made in D4 and it is cardboard carton tab. It come from product that has been stripped out to RP Returned product and added back into the mix to be formed. Basically means a Line op has missed this when he was stripping out product from the packing lines.

so basically it's the tab from when the chemicals are used to dye the pink slime and firm it up?

BTW if you are a QC at birds eye then what is the water content of a chicken nugget? must be at least 30%? for how much they shrink in the oven.
