Do coloured coolants still clog up/stain blocks or is that a thing of the past?

I love the look of cooloured coolant but people always steer me away from it, saying distilled water and colour tubing is the safest thing to use but I hate the look of coloured tubing

still stains:(

XSPC tubing is the worst i have ever seen for staining. Primochill is the most resistant.

it will generally stain most things but at the end of they day it is a dye and that's what it does.

Soft tubing absorbs water, so it will stain eventually to an extent. That's where acrylic comes in handy.

Good coolant and proper loop maintenance means no gunking in blocks or such.
