Anyone else been watching? Recently found the sport I thought it was made up on Dirt, hoping to go to Lydden Hill in august bank holiday to watch. Great coverage on eurosport

Watched some at Knockhill - very dramatic.

The guys with the rage buggies are all mental cases too - huge crashes everywhere! Must post some photos soon....

Its a shame its become a bit niche and has been reduced to just a handful of tracks scattered at the far corners of the UK.

The US have also 'Ken Block-ified' it a bit and are doing circuits purely on tarmac around NASCAR circuits which is ruining it a bit.

European Rally Cross seems to have it right. Some big named drivers and manufacturer interest, but still using 'proper' mixed surface tracks. Some of the older stuff with ex Group B rally cars is well worth digging out too. My childhood is full of memories of Will Gollop and his Silkolene 6R4!

Just realised how far Lydden Hill is - to say I am gutted is an under statement - about 2.5 hours from me.

Where else in the UK are the circuits?

Ah it was all Will Gollop in his Silkolene Metro 6R4 (later 306) and Martin Schanche in the RS200 in the heyday of World of Sport
