Heya guys, I've stuck a decent EK waterblock onto my 780TI, bringing temps down from 80c to 40c under load. Was just wondering what kind of voltage I'd be looking at roughly for 1300mhz? Sitting at 1200mhz on stock voltage at the moment.

Cheers.

Seems am hitting the power limit at 1215mhz on stock and it wont push the mhz any higher. Time to push voltage up to 1.20v then.

Power limit is a PIA and card clocks/voltage will bounce all over the place.

Get the Skyn3t bios on it.

Is your card the newer revision with bios 80.80.34.XX.XX ?

How do I check my cards bios? Last time I suggested flashing my gpu people flipped tables saying it was a waste :P

I feel its a waste having a watercooling block on it sitting at stock.

That newer card rev and bios rev.

The new modded bios of that build for each Vendor are appearing on the OC.net site.

He did my EVGA SC one for me before it went public as the older modded EVGA SC Bios was not much help as I have the newer bios.

What make/model is your card exactly (not sure if the link is allowed here)?

Reference cards can still punch above their weight if you keep them cool enough, even with as little as 1.2v. Mine did 1385 core in Valley.

Mines will not volt past 1.2 even with over voltage sit to .75 over that 1.2. Sits at 1215mhz when I have overclock set to 1300mhz. So yea, A reflash of the bios is needed...

Dont really see my card listed in there forums, Not very user friendly eh.

In saying that I did try another benchmark and got it sitting at 1270mhz, However, hitting 1280mhz crashed my video drivers. Now it seems bugged as I keep dropping the mhz down to 1250 and the drivers keep crashing. Any ideas?

Well, I guess Precision has killed my GPU. It sat at 1.2v, Crashed at 1280mhz with no change in voltage and the drivers crash on any game now, Tried updating them with no luck as well.

Always crashing, It's quite annoying. I might have to get in touch with overclockers or EVGA for a new card. Means being cardless for weeks ugh.

UK got it, Had to reinstall them twice to get them to stop crashing. Back up to 1200mhz but am scared to overclock now if it's going to kill my drivers...

happy that it's sorted, always my first port of call if it all goes **** up.

Were it me, i'd get the skynet bios on there first if you haven't and give that a go.
