Guardians of the Galaxy

How does this fit in with the Avengers universe? Is this considered outside the "realms" of Thor, being in another galaxy completely?

Now that I say that, I realise the last scene of Thor 2 shows the Azgardians giving the cosmic cube? to the collector... so wherever GOTG is set, Thor can get to / does know of?

It's basically outer space - aliens, races, other planets/galaxies. Marvel's cosmic roster covers everything from your run of the mill humanoids to hyper-powered baddies to abstract cosmic god-entities who oversee the universe. The GotG aren't major players, but I guess as a recent edition to Marvel's roster they were meant to be a bit more relatable as a lot of the Cosmic stuff usually involves dealing with threats to the universe/reality.

Well saw it last night, very good in my opinion of course.

Funny, the old pop songs add a certain something to the procedings.

Only negative - no end credits scene........

Not until it is on general release on the US I believe (1st Aug) - someone marvel/Disney related mentioned this at the press screening earlier in the week.

Can't wait to see this though, looks different from the (marvel) norm but good fun none the less :-)

Thats a bit stupid, should either stick it in from the begining or just not bother, never had that problem with the Iron Man 3 Regional Prem

Man , confirming or denying ' end credit stuffs' is meant to be kept on the low . Part of the fun is hanging out and hoping...

It really isn't, I hate the waiting. Just make it part of the film instead of making people hang around after credits.

People work hard making movies, at least appreciate them in the credits*

* I am in the Guardians credits so maybe biased.

I've always enjoyed the end credits wait for Marvel films... Also interesting looking for 'weird names' or the 'That visual effect guy has the same name as me!'

That defeats the object, which is to instill into the Marvel faithful a sense of superiority as you watch the couples leave the cinema.
Makes a nerd feel righteous as said people suddenly stop in their tracks halfway down the stairs. Whilst I'm sat comfortably.

Why take this away from us...WHY!!!!???
