New trackpad.

I really really wanted the black one, but Logitech in their infinite wisdom only have drivers for Windows. While the Silver one, only has drivers for OSX.
Sneaky buggers trying to get you to buy it twice. All it does in Windows is have left click and move, horribly slowly.

Works a treat in OSX though. Would have really liked the black one.

Neither, the white thing top right is the clamp and cable holder which then the strain relief (already inserted) screws into. There's no give, it will not be coming apart ever. Neutrik make quality connectors

They do the same with the wireless solar keyboards K760 and K750. Black for Windows and Silver for OS X. Bizarre decision.

Better late than never, they came this morning.

Cut off the plastic/rubber coating about 6-7mm back:

Slide the cable under the pins, G is green and not ground as I thought:

it would annoy me that the RGB cables are not connected to the relavent colour on the strip.

I personally soldered my connections and used heatshrink to seal as I will be using mine in an aquarium and wanted it to be more moisture resistant

Herp derp, you are quite right. Aha, I always just assume G=Ground and didn't even consider it was RGB. I'll fix it.
