and after a good drying out will go up like paper, you want some moisture left, we use last years to get the fire going then this years to keep it going. We go through 6 crane bags of logs a year and only light it at weekends as we are at work all week.

Does it sound boomy?
nope, all the insulation helps (got 70MM+). it sound fair better than my old rectangle room in the house.
wood absorbs the sound lovely. each speaker is around 50cm from the wall too.
so no boomy/echo effects
best thing is no one else can hear me when i'm inside even at 75% vol
3 steps away from the front door you hear zip...
the curtains help a lot sounds fair bit different when they are open
Don't be silly
it is two deep of logs as well, what are you running a crematorium, that's all the space i have to store logs, if i need more i shall order more half way through the cold season

Sub (tannoy 10") to same series as my speakers (oak was on 60% discount!)
How much was the sub? Getting from the same series as your speakers isn't really any real benefit, you probably could have got a better sub for cheaper, or around the same money from BK Electronics.

Its not too bad, probably about 2ft down either side of the bed, and where I was stood is a big area of clear space, with a walk in wardrobe at one end and the TV up on the wall.

I really really wanted the black one, but Logitech in their infinite wisdom only have drivers for Windows. While the Silver one, only has drivers for OSX.
Sneaky buggers trying to get you to buy it twice. All it does in Windows is have left click and move, horribly slowly.
Works a treat in OSX though. Would have really liked the black one.

Was it significantly cheaper than the magic pad?
I paid €49 from the rainforrest with shipping. Has all the exact same gestures, and a rechargeable battery you can charge via USB. You can also take it out to replace later if you want.
Also less of an angle.
